Environmental Social Scientist specialising in the use of social and behavioural science approaches to understand the intersection between wildlife & biodiversity and human behaviour, perceptions and attitudes. Broadly I enjoy working on anything that supports the development of socially-just solutions to the complex social and environmental problems facing treescapes and wider environments both nationally and internationally. Current topic areas of focus include but are not limited to evidence-led stakeholder engagement, evaluations of policy interventions and taking a One Health approach to environmental management.

Member of the Society and Environment Research Group (SERG) for Forest Research, Great Britain’s principal organisation for forestry and tree-related research. Forest research is internationally renowned for the provision of science, research, evidence, data, and services in support of sustainable forestry.
Role in BeXyl Project: Leader of Work Package 8 on the assessment of ecological, social, and economic impacts of Xf and outbreak management approaches, with specific research input into understanding stakeholder acceptability of potential management approaches.
