Tenured Scientist at the Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Center, Spanish National Research Council (Spain). She has over 10 years’ experience in the design of multifunctional materials with tailored chemical and textural properties. Her main research areas are focused on the design, synthesis and evaluation of inorganic antimicrobial materials, mainly nanomaterials and novel formulations of glasses and glass ceramics for various applications including new eco-friendly pesticides in agriculture.
Role in BeXyl Project: Work Package 6 -Development of new antimicrobials based on different formulations of biodegradable antimicrobial glasses and glass-ceramics.
