BeXyl coordinator Blanca B. Landa participated in a European Commission’s civil dialogue group on the olive oil market. After a presentation about the latest legislative change on the measure to contrast the introduction and the spread of Xylella fastidiosa in the EU territory by Belén Marquez from the Commission’s DG Santé, Landa presented the BeXyl project.
Civil Dialogue Groups (CDGs) are expert groups specific to the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development. They assist the European Commission in preparing policy initiatives and provide advice related to their thematic areas of competence when specific expertise is required.
