BeXyl on the most important Italian press agency

Dec 24, 2023 | News

“Xylella, 10 years later, EU research investigates new solutions” is the headline of an article by ANSA (the main Italian news agency) on the history of EU research and the BeXyl project.

“The ‘BeXyl-Beyond Xylella’ project, launched at the end of 2022, aims to go beyond the ‘state of emergency’,” the article says. With BeXyl, ANSA reports, researchers are exploring all possibilities to provide economic operators and public authorities with tools to manage current outbreaks, quickly identify new ones and prevent further introduction of the pathogen into the EU.

Several local and national newspapers mentioned the article. Examples can be found here and here.
