BeXyl is hiring experts in data analysis and modelling

Feb 10, 2024 | News

The BeXyl coordinating organisation IAS-CSIC is recruiting experts in data analysis and modelling.

The research objectives are to analyse the environmental suitability for plant pathogens in crops and natural vegetation using epidemiological models; to identify plant traits associated with pathogen infection using spectral image analysis; to detect vegetation stress over time and space using satellite image analysis.

Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python with a focus on data analysis and modelling, experience with epidemiological modelling in agricultural settings, and familiarity with spectral imaging analysis and its application to plant pathology are among the technical skills required.
