Our mission to manage the impact of Xylella fastidiosa requires a network of specialized expertise. We present work facilitated by our partner, utilizing the resources of a leading facility accredited by BGCI (Botanic Gardens Conservation International).
The “Padre Julio Marrero” Botanical Garden supports local conservation and research in Ecuador. Located in the tropical lowland Chocó biodiversity region, this facility provides valuable data and resources to the consortium.
This collaboration integrates specialized knowledge of native plants and sustainable development into BeXyl’s scientific outputs, advancing our strategies for:
- EARLY DETECTION methodologies.
- DEVELOPING RESISTANT VARIETIES research.
The effectiveness of international science is supported by specialized local units.
