Coordinator of the Global Seed Conservation Challenge and secretariat provider to the IUCN Seed Conservation Group. While at the MSB, Kew researched the dormancy of the Apiaceae family. She also manages the International Plant Sentinel Network (IPSN) a network of botanic gardens and plant health scientists. Through which she has experience working with pest and disease monitoring, tool and resource development, networking, organizing workshops and data management.
Role in BeXyl Project Active participation in WP1 : Understanding drivers of Xf epidemics in the EU, through facilitating the sampling of plants in selected botanical gardens and arboreta of the ‘International Plant Sentinel Network’ located in areas where Xf is endemic. Co-lead of WP9: Communication and dissemination – working with botanic gardens in project countries to raise awareness of Xf and its impacts.
